Harbourside Bed & breakfast with direct views across Newlyn Harbour and Mounts Bay at the best prices. Between Penzance and Mousehole - near Lands End, St Michael's Mount and St Ives.

We are the only B&B provider in Newlyn with all double guest rooms directly overlooking the harbour and Mounts Bay - we are also by far the cheapest - there is an historic slipway just across the road leading directly into the water!  In fact, we probably have the best views of any B&B in Penzance and Newlyn.

This B & B accommodation is friendly, comfortable and provides all the extra amenities of a guest house - full English breakfast served from 8.30am in the guest lounge/dining room looking across the harbour.  We have on-line booking, wifi, use of computer, and a wide selection of tourism leaflets.  All double rooms have en-suite or private facilities, tea/coffee trays, CH/TV, Wifi, hairdryers, towels and incredible sea/harbour views.

We are dog friendly (£5 pn ) and child friendly (£10-15 pn) (high chair and travel cot available). Doubles £60 pr pn incl full English breakfast.  DISCOUNTS FOR MULTIPLE NIGHTS.  Family Suites can be booked as a double or twin with en-suite facilities at £70-75 pn.

We aim to make your holiday as pleasant as we possibly can by offering to help in any way that is necessary for you to achieve this - being a frequent traveller myself, I appreciate how important a friendly and helpful face is at the accommodation.  This is my 12th season - so have plenty of experience in Newlyn tourism.  We take up to 18 persons. 

Parking is available in 2 local car parks (fee paying) - nearest is 75 yards away.  There is on-street parking generally available a bit further away.

We have a 'quiet' policy from 11pm to 8am - it is a family guest house - not suitable for partying or nightclubbers.

We are on the No. 6 bus route for Penzance and Mousehole evey half hour - Newlyn Red Lion stop.  If you arrive by train, take a taxi/bus from the adjoining bus station, or you can walk 2 miles along the promenade.

Harbour View Bed & Breakfast Newlyn directly overlooks Newlyn Harbour and Mounts Bay. It is a traditional Cornish mid terrace house built about 1860 which has in its time been a bookmakers shop, a post office, an hotel, a restaurant and now a guest house.

It is situated directly on the harbour side of the vibrant working fishing harbour of Newlyn in an elevated position with outstanding sea/harbour views in all directions. If water, walking and fishing is your thing, then this is the place to come. Where else can you sit in your room and have 180 degrees of sea and harbour in front of you to watch? Yet you are close to restaurants, pubs and shops - the nearest pub is 4 doors away.

We are on the coast road between Penzance and Mousehole in the South West of Cornwall. Penzance, with the main train/bus/coach station and taxi rank is just 2 miles away, with a bus route directly here (No.6 Newlyn Red Lion stop).

The lifeboat departs from here - there is gig racing (traditional Cornish wooden boats), the beam trawlers and crabbers are in and out all the time. The village of Newlyn is 300 yards down the hill. Newlyn is England’s largest fishing port and home of the historic Newlyn painting School.

It has a wonderfully friendly community spirit with plenty of colourful characters, pubs and attractions. You can watch the fish being landed on the quay, and sold in the fish market early morning.

West Cornwall is an area of outstanding natural beauty and has many fine sandy beaches and rocky coves. The scenery varies from wooded valleys to wild moorland and rugged cliffs. It is an area rich in history with stone circles and megaliths, and the engine houses of the tin-mining era. It is famous for its art galleries, festivals, craft shops and potteries and splendid sub-tropical gardens.

Local places of interest include St Michaels Mount, Lands End, Sennen, St Ives, the Lizard peninsular, the Helford River, the Tate Gallery (St Ives), the Minack Theatre (Porthcurno), and many small picturesque villages such as Mousehole and Lamorna just down the road. Penzance is also the departure point for the Isles of Scilly either by boat.
