The space itself is beautiful with the best view you’ll get in St Ives. The tables were beautifully laid and I enjoyed several delicious glasses of reasonably priced wine. Onto the food - the freshest and most authentic Italian food I’ve ever eaten. Homemade fresh pasta with a very generous portion of Cornish crab, several Italian small plates finished with a rich chocolate tart. All the dishes were fresh, excellent portions and beautifully presented. I was delighted to be treated to a complimentary shot of limoncello to finish off easily our most memorable and exceptional evening of food and atmosphere in St Ives. We had such an enjoyable evening that we returned the next day for breakfast. The food was perfect - an innovative menu compiled of fresh and tasty ingredients, delicious artisan coffee all topped off with super quick and efficient service. Would 100% advise everyone to attend Harbour View and book into one of their supper clubs, or just visit for the relaxing atmosphere and beautiful views. We enjoyed trips to Porthcurno, St Ives, Marazion, Mousehole and the lovely Acorn theatre in Penzance as well as several delicious meals at local restaurants and pubs. A very relaxing and inexpensive break!

It is a lovely location and the rooms are clean and have all the little extras you get in any other hotel.
The rooms do need updating but as they are - they are charming and all you need for a short break.

Even without a car the bus connection which is just outside the Guest House makes getting to the Penzance Bus Terminus a breeze. Services start early and go on until late which is very useful as we have done a lot of quite long day trips. The location of the Guest House is delightful given the view over the Bay and the proximity to the working Harbour and it is away from the main touristy areas which suited us perfectly for a quieter space. Lovely place will hopefully be able to return next year.
